Background: The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) is a government agency that supports the production, planning, creation, distribution, promotion, and overseas expansion of Korean content. As part of its ongoing efforts, KOCCA, with the aid of private agencies, hosts overseas training and learning programs, workshops, and conferences.
Challenge: KOCCA is hosting a 2023 Content Insight workshop in Korea with over 600 guest attendees, primarily consisting of content industry leaders such as Wavve, Tving, and Coupang Play. For its main event, the agency needed to invite credible keynote speakers from the U.S. who are leaders in notable content companies such as DreamWorks, Netflix, and Disney Plus to share industry knowledge and insights. Much time was lost trying to find the right talent, and when we were given the task, we had less than a week to source the speakers. Finding and connecting with the right talents were crucial within the limited time available.



Connecting Solution: Understanding the government agency’s specific needs, operation, and reporting structure was the key to efficiently fulfilling the client’s task. While utilizing our wide network to find candidates seemed simple enough, understanding the requirements of government agencies and the type of candidates posed more of a challenge, not to mention the limited timeline presented.
Result: Within a 2–3-day span, we were able to present a list of candidates, and a perfect connection was made.
